This research entitle Boy Prostitute: Poverty and Life Style. This title adapted to the main theme taken up in the preparation of this book, that is boy prostitution. Background research on this book do in Pontianak city, Bandung city, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok. The method used for collecting data is observation (for Bangkok city, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore) and interview (for Pontianak city and Bandung). In Indonesia, based on the result of this research show that prostitution in boys still widespread. The pratices of boy prostitution are mostly secret and rarely known by the public. They has using social media as the supporting their action.

In the first chapter of this book is introducing of prostitution and identification practices of man and boy. Basically, these practices has happened since long centuries ago. Then how the people in Indonesia perceive on this phenomenon, which is very closely related to morality.

In the second chapter is outlines of sexual violence. Indonesia has experienced emergency status of sexual crime since a few years ago, but handling comprehensively still have not done especially for victim on child and he is a boy. It is characterized by are still many cases boy prostitution in various regions in Indonesia, but is not widely known by the public.

The third chapter this research is discuss about child, sex and tourism. How the boys are really closely relationship between these variables and sexual activity with foreign tourist. Indonesia is the large number foreign tourist visited from all over the world. This condition is very crowded on child in Indonesia, because increase number of phedofilia are from foreign tourist. It is make sure with the data from Australian Federal Police that Indonesia is the first destination by phedofilia from Australia. In this chapter also described ho the boy prostitute do not get protection.

In the fourth chapter this book is core of discussion. Those are namely relevance between cases of boy prostitute, poverty and life style. This chapter also shown case study in several cities; Pontianak, Bandung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Based on the result of this research, shown that boy prostitute has exist in South East Asia. Poverty and life style in a big city are fundamental things to bring them on this situation.

The boys who were victims of prostitution is from the family in the bolow economic background or they are still poor. So that, poverty is one of the causes of they do in prostitution. In addition, life style a luxurious and flirty also is the cause of. They want to have luxury items and branded items.

Beside, the victims are not covered on protected if they report the authorities. For that reason, there should be the regulations as legal basis for protected them. However, they are should be back to their families. For the future, children can be protection from sexual predatory.
